Tina O Rourke
Designer / Content Creator
Hi and welcome, to start with a little bit about myself, I love making, designing, and learning. Combining all of these factors together has led me down an eclectic and interesting career path, where I have worked in theatre, film, as a freelance writer, and more recently within the new media sector.
At present I am self employed as a freelance web designer and content creator. I also run an indie sewing pattern e-commerce shop over at Miss Daisy Patterns, where I design and create all the patterns and tutorials, alongside running its YouTube Channel, and developing pattern content for a selection of UK based sewing magazines. For recreational purposes I run a blog called Being Tina.
Coming from the point of view of being an online business owner firstly has greatly informed how I approach the entire field of web development. Combining this with my technical know how has allowed me to understand the needs of the small to medium business owner when they are looking to create or expand their online presence.
I specialise in developing websites that are easily owned, managed and run by the business owner. Designed to suit your specifications, I either provide full training alongside the website development or create custom packages for running your website. Either way I ensure that you are the sole owner of your web presence.

First and foremost, hello and welcome. I would like to invite you to explore our content and if you have any questions I would love to hear from you. My career path has lead me on a journey experiencing many different disciplines, from IT consultancy, group and individual training right through to creative content creation, with some culinary sojourns along the way.
My IT skills encompass the area running from sales and marketing, SEO and digital Marketing, Apple professional support engineer and iOS training to the education sector with digital design dotted in-between.
For the past three plus years I have worked in IT in the classroom, supporting and guiding teachers and schools to the most beneficial way of getting IT in the hands of the student.
The scope of my content creation includes photography, graphic design and content creation for personal and business online identities, print, digital advertising and branded iOS applications.
As I truly believe learning is a journey that should accompany us on our life path, I chose to train as an NLP & Hypnotherapy practitioner. My practice is now integrated into my IT work whereby I look at developing personal and business growth with coaching using NLP and Hypnotherapy, alongside helping people overcome confidence issues, public speaking nerves through to a variety of phobias.
